Yeap. That's right, somehow I think that Akademi Fantasia is being infested with politics. Why do I say so, you see, someone who has been kicked out, yes. Shahir. Kicked out in the early weeks. He is back because of the wild card.
Every year, the story line is the same. Kick someone out, towards the end of the AF journey, some wild card candidate will rejoin and his/her vote will shoot up to number one spot. Then, the remaining students' fans are pushed to cast more and more vote.
So what do I see here?
1. its a marketing strategy.
- once the fans are shaken due to the fact there is a wildcard that dominates the number one spot, they will cast more vote. How many votes are needed to be count as 1%? Lets just say, to hit 1%, votes are supposed to reach at least 1000 counts. Each AFUNDI SMS sent cost 50 cent, with additional 15 cent*. SO that would be 65 cent per vote. to get 1%, fans are expected to spend RM650.00. That is just my speculation. Of course to get 1% vote, you will need more than 1000 votes.
2. the strongest student in the academy that I personally liked is from Borneo (Farina is not bad!!! English sucks though). So, by the time, final comes, the chances of another Borneo winning is very high. How to stop that? Kick one of the Sarawakian ( She is a mother with child with very good talent. But still, she is a mother, a single mother at that) and put someone from this side and hopefully, tweak the outcome and somehow the wild card will win????
3. its a scam!!!!
- refer to fact 1 please...
Sigh... What to do... Maybe this show is not based on talent after all. Lets just watch the real talent in AF!!!
Am I biased? Oh well. The thing is, everyone wanna be so biased. I will be one too.
