10 student remains, who will be the next one eliminated?

Why so serious title? It's because I am going to talk serious.. *puts on serious face and change mode*

The thing is, I have been staying in Ampang with one housemate. Its convenient in a way but the place that we frequent to is in PJ area. Yes, previously I stayed in PJ area, Sungai Way to be exact, the reason we moved is because someone attempt break in and my property is at stake. Huh... Property of a 22 year old would be laptop, phone, ok. mostly gadgets.

So I have been trying to find another house to rent, that can fit 3 human, 4 cats and lots of cloths and books and junks and more gadgets. I like the idea of finding a house for rent online without going under the scorching sun, suffering sun burns without fail. I have tried finding in various website and I found this website PropWall. Basically this website is a website catering for property searching, may it be land, condominium, house, shop lots and even factory.


Targeted groups are more to high end consumers with house rents ranging from 4 digits and above. Luxurious house for people with bigger paychecks. There is a forum initiated in the website too. Any question in mind, just post it and interact with many users from many parts of Malaysia. Finding a house to rent cant be any easier than that. The rental on these houses may burn a big hole in the pocket but with the amenities that are offered, it is a pretty good deal.

One thing that attracts me in this website is the pictures are provided and updated frequently. In finding a house, the phrase " a picture is worth a thousand words" cant be more appropriate. The vivid picture uploaded makes you feel like you are there, being shown to the whole property.

Just one feature (at the moment) that I am not that fond of, wider range of properties should be offered, with more properties in other states as well. Many properties and real estates in states such as Sarawak and Sabah are not being commercialised in websites. These states property's commercial value is increasing gradually but not profoundly without publicity.

If you are looking towards owning a property or an investment in Kuala Lumpur, you should check this website. They have financial planning, mortgage planning, forum, property changes in the market, just about anything, name it, you can find it here in KL property. Register for free and you are up with access to many property that you dream of.

These condos maybe a little out of my reach, but a girl can sure dream and work on it. If you are looking for house with smaller budget, try asking around, I am sure you are able to find one.

about Akademi Fantasia?

This post is only for the hardcore addict who cant leave any update about Akademi Fantasia 8.

Years ago, 8 years ago to be exact. Akademi Fantasia fever has just started to infect everyone, almost making everyone to subscribe to paid TV network, ASTRO.

I was a hardcore AF addict, who isnt? I still remember all the Saturdays that turned into kinda a family day where everyone will nest in front of the TV, watching Astro Ria, channel 4 (back then). Bawling our eyes out when one of the student get eliminated. And during final concerts, my mom would ask me to text out the AFUNDI for the student that she really fond of.

The first ever Akademi Fantasia winner, Vincent Chong (brother of the the contestant of Amazing Race Asia, Vanessa and Pamela Chong) somehow reminds my mom of her own brother, I think that's why she voted so much.

During weekdays, we would bring our homework and do it in front of the TV to watch the Akademi Fantasia diary episodes. Maybe Malaysian just love watching people being confined in a house, enjoying the drama in life. lol. Maybe its just me. I love watching America's Next Top Model, Malaysian Dream Girl and such. I've stopped watching this phenomenon in 2006 or so. That was the starting year of me being away from home. My mom would still update me on it sometimes. Those were the days.

What got me interested in the new season of Akademi Fantasia if I have outdated myself for so long?

Yes, high school friend who I used to bully go to school with. We were never in the same class though. Okay, I have been writing sentence after sentence then end up pressing the backspace button and end up with the first 2 sentence. I guess, I have some fear that whatever that is written in this blog will be used against him once he got out from the academy. Or maybe I am just scared that people are going to say that I tumpang glamor. Oh well, some high school memories.

The only thing I remembered the most is he always hang out with his cousin who was in the same class with him.. From what I have heard, they are not that close anymore. I guess after years of separation after SPM, no one really contact each other. Everyone is scattered around pursuing studies and careers.

His puppy love? Of course we know about it. It's not very decent to disclose here. But lets just say that they are still in very good terms.

Private joke between us, we would always measures height. I dont know, maybe its a way of ice breaking. lol. Though he is petite, he does have the huge confidence and sheer determination. Though I never realise his talent in singing nor dancing, you can still have a sneak peak into it,here is his youtube channel.

Oh well, after this, he will be a star. And more people will flock with pretense of being friend.

Ain is in the hospital but she is still in the academy.

I never know that Gatsby have other range of product other than hair product. I've cut my hair short once, and trust me, Gatsby is good!! It stays "messy" even after hours you messed it up. Okay, I cut it like 3 years ago, because that time, this messy out of bed look was so in. So I cut my hair. Wrong move though. Cause I dont really know how to take care of it.

3 years after that tragedy ( my hair, not Gatsby), Gatsby come out with new product, which is the deodorant range and they are having a streetfair in April, in KL!!! yay. They are going to introduce their 7 new babies to the world. Its like a party that people organise to actually announce the birth of their baby. Or like the Majlis Cukur Jambul or something like that.




Gatsby version of majlis cukur jambul will be on 17th of April 2010. Since everyone is waiting for these babies to be born, a huge fair is going to be organised in Times Square Foyer from 10 am to 5 pm. Yes. The babies will be introduced to everyone on that day.

Unlike the traditional Majlis, there will be a lot of activities held on that very day. I guess, Gatsby's new babies are more athletic and fun and adventurous. There will be lucky draw of course. The prizes? Well, you will need to come to see whats the prize. Psst, I heard the prizes are worth up to RM15,000,consist of various cool gadgets that is going to be given away.

There will a lot of fun fair-ish type of game on that day. Of course, other amusing and addictive games in funfair will be there too. Just make sure you have enough energy to play! But the highlights will be the Sumo Wrestling (in air bag suits!);

20/3 marks the first concert in Akademi Fantasia 8. Meaning that Akademi Fantasia has been on air for 1 week now.

Being in this academy, everything is captured on camera. But not everything is put on air, some of the student may come across as the quiet ones.

These students are given 1 week, well, more like 5 days to me to learn all the choreograph, song and to perform every Saturday looking as ready as ever.

This week, the first concert of Akademi Fantasia 8, after a stressful week of learning, their song according to their turns during concert is;

I was quite surprised that Daus was required to dance, after having a dance number the precious week. Oh well, you see, you can always look at the silver linings of clouds. Why do you think that they gave him that particular number with a dance routine? Obviously because he can dance, oh come on. See for yourself, he can really dance. He swayed! How many manly guys can do that?



One thing I dont get is, Why is the judge a little bit too biased? or is it just me?

This guy got talent, but he is from Borneo. Nope, nothing wrong with that. I am from Borneo too. Its just that, some "people" just cant see someone else on top and they just try so hard to crush them down. Somehow I really think that the choice of songs that are given to him really dont do any justice to him. What do you think? You dont trust me? Look at this;

A friend of mine got her kitten from SPCA a few weeks ago. The cat (we shall name the cat Ninja to protect privacy) Ninja, is a very fussy pussy. He, yes its male cat, only eats the wet food and wouldn't even touch the dry food.

We have tried all the possible way of tricking Ninja into eating his dry food, including making the dry food wet, by pouring milk into it ala cereal. He will only drink the milk. then making the dry food move or jump, ie, throwing the dry food around so that he will catch it and eat it as a prize. My friend even tried mixing the wet food with the dry ones to make a "tuna coated dry food", fail, Ninja only licks off the coating.

Then come one day, my friend told me that her cat is finally eating dry food. with all the excited-ness she told me, "you know what, ninja is beginning to eat dry food ady. That day i fed him friskas mix with a bit of wet food, he ate it. i am so happy. some more right, i think Friskas is better than Whiskis. but Whiskis is cheaper."


I gave a puzzle look, trying to engage in the confusing conversation. when i finally beh tahan and ask, "ergh.. friskas? whiskis? you mean whiskas and friskies right??" "ergh.... correct la.. no meh?"

Then we laugh our ass off at the accidental joke. :P

Yes. I have been physically abused. I even have photo proof for that. It has been going for weeks months. I don't think I can take it anymore.

Months ago, I was bitten and kicked till I bled and constant marks on my hands and legs. I have loved him so much. Just name anything, he gets it. See, I sometimes sacrifice my space just for him to be comfortable around me. I cant anything that I did wrong.

Is love at first sight counted as real love? Its very clichéd and cheesy. I know right.

Well. I first know about him when I was in college. A friend of mine, Zue introduced him to me. I was skeptic at first, knowing that I wont fall for a guy so easily. Zue said that I will fall for him head over heels. I just shrugged.

Zue then took out her phone and showed his picture to me. I nonchalantly look at the screen, to make sure that I don’t offend her. Holy mama. There he is, with a killer gaze, looking straight at me. It struck me there and then. I have this mushy feeling in my stomach and I just stared back at him (the picture lah). Being an egocentric, I shrugged and said that he is okay. He is totally my type anyway. Yes, I have a type.

Being all excited (still), I told a friend of mine about him and she just shoots those laser beamed eye at me saying that this guy is plastic. He is not that good looking without make up. Ah well, its okay if he uses make up to hide his flaw, every girl do that, I said. My friend left without saying anything, shaking her head.

Since then, I pestered Zue about him, asking non stop about everything, every single detail that I can think of, for the need of knowing him better. Zue is not like the other friend though. Zue is very supportive, maybe because we share the same zodiac and her birthday is exactly 7 days after mine, compared to others. We would spend most of our free time in her room where I would ogle on the cuteness of the guy.

I then turn very obsessive towards the guy; I search online for his profile and sneakily "steal" his pictures and set it as my phone wallpaper. How cheesy is that? I have always told Zue that he serenades me in my sleep, every single night. It is always the same song and it stuck in my head. It goes something like this;

Girl I'm going out of my mind

And even though I don't really know you

I guess I feel I'm running out of time

I'm waiting for the moment I can show you

And baby girl I want you to know

Its real love that you don't know about

6 months or so after that, we left college. Zue and I still talk to each other. Yapping away about out updates. But it was one thing that I miss the most; the guy that I was in love with no longer lingers in my dream. Not until recently, he is back. One fine day, and he just slipped into my dream and starts to sing the same old song that I fell in love with. But now he is famous. He even have a lot of videos in you tube, with 7 to 8 digit of views.

I guess by creating this post, I need to update on Akademi Fantasia weekly. oh well, I can always ask my sister's help.

Show me your proof. You say that English is never important. In which universe is English not important? okay, maybe in mars cause they speak martian.

People around us have been giving negative comments whenever we try to speak English. instead of giving us encouragement, we are showered with negative comments.

Its true that I learned my English through songs. During my primary school years, I wasn't shy to sing or speak in broken English, because my friends were being all supportive and "yay, we should learn english to defeat the headmaster's son." uh huh.. we were in the same class with his son, imagine the pressure that we faced at a very tender age.

Come high school, I still dont converse in English except when my English teacher dont want to answer me if I speak in malay. It did me good. I was forced to talk in English during english week, each non-english word is charged RM1, I dont have the luxury.

In college, eveything is in English. Well, no wonder my high school teacher forced us to speak in English. It did us good. So, I cant prove that english is important. But it is obvious that English is very important.

He look pissed, grab car key then leave. You were at shock, then you rush to room and pack your stuff planning to move out.

Then boyfie come home with a bouquet of cornetto and kneel in front of you asking for forgiveness. you receive cornetto, open 1 and share with boyfie..

Ohana means family. Family means no one get left behind, or forgotten.

This is the sentence that I repeat the most after watching Lilo and Stitch. Stitch, an alien from outer space, with no feelings or whatsoever, began to understand the meaning of family, the meaning of love after meeting Lilo. Lilo treated Stitch like her own family even though Stitch's looks are not the usual puppy that Lilo claim him to be.

Now, what if everyone is like Lilo, treating dogs, cats or any animal for that matter, just like our own family. Think about the puppies and kitten that wanders the street finding food and shelter, risking their life. How helpless they are when they cant find any shelter when the rain come pouring down. How hungry they are after being chased away again and again when they are begging for food.

There are groups and even individuals who devoted parts of their life rescuing these animals, giving them shelter, finding a suitable home for them.

Chan Kah Yein, the author of the always-updated blog, www.myanimalcare.org, and the volunteers have helped a lot of misfortunate animals. They raised funds, sponsors neutering and spaying for the rescued cats and dogs (to avoid more kitties and puppies who end up in the streets). Passions is what motivates them.

- Raise awareness of animal protection and sign declaration. Achieving this at the United Nations will create the required pressure for governments to put in place firm laws and enforcement for animal welfare.


Animals cant speak. So, we need to speak for them..

A man went to visit his 80 year old grandfather and while eating the
breakfast of eggs and bacon prepared for him, he noticed a film-like
substance on his plate. So he says, "Grandfather, are these plates
clean?"

His grandfather replies, "Those plates are as clean as cold water can
get them, so go on and finish your meal".

That afternoon, while eating the hamburgers his grandfather made for
lunch, he noticed many little black specks around the edge of his plate,

One fine day in a Mathematics class...

Teacher : I've lit five candles in my room. Then I blew out 2 out of 5. How many candles do I have?

Student : *raises hand* Two!

Teacher : Now, why would I have 2? I blew out 2 but I still have the candle with me.

Student : You blew out 2 but you let the other 3 burnt. You only have 2 because the other 3 melted.


Teacher : ....... (now why didn't I think of that?)

When you are having your relaxing warm shower, do you turn off the shower when you are scrubbing all the dead skin on your body? Do you turn it off when you shampoo your greasy hair after a long day at work or in school? You dont? Oh my, we are totally twins. I bet you dont turn off the tap when you are brushing your teeth, cause we are twins like that.

I was browsing through one of the youth community online web, youthsays.com (its a site that allows you to actually voice out and get paid), when I found one of their campaign on their campaign page. The campaign is about clean water for a healthy world. So far, what come to mind when we mention water is we waste a lot. Yes. That is true, but even if we are not wasting water by turning off the tap while brushing our teeth, turning off the shower when we are shampooing and scrubbing. There are still a bigger problem rather than wastage. Ok, I am not encouraging you to waste. My point is our water source is actually being polluted by a lot of ways that we overlooked.

In most rural places, they source their water from the hill or mountain for fresh water supply. When I say fresh, it is very fresh. It is not treated with any chemical at all, sometimes you can even see fish "swam" from your tap. But then, there is logging. Logging has caused the water turn muddy. They use the water (river) to transport the logs from higher ground to lower ground which polluted the water.

Farming too near to the river will pollute the water too. How? Well, all the pesticide and fertilizer that is not being absorbed by the plant will flow into the river. I guess if you use organic fertilizer, it wont be a big harm except maybe the water taste like, you know. :)

So how important is water? Very. To the extend that water actually have their own day being celebrated. Yes people, mark your calendar, 22 March, celebrate the International World Water Day.

Well, I myself wasnt aware of this campaign before this. I guess you can call me ignorant. But International World Water Day is actually being celebrated internationally on the 22 of March annually. Basically, we focus on how we can raise awareness among public about sustaining a healthy ecosystem. We can start by increasing the quality in water. Start small but think of the change that it will bring us if everyone is taking that small step.

Yes. They have arrived to this humble house of ours last night. Valley and OJ didnt take it very well though. Valley was sulking the whole night and refuse to get out from under the table. Maybe its their smell.. They smell a little bit like dog.

They reached home at around 10 after massive traffic jam around the usual places of Imbi, Pandan Jaya and the junction turning in to Pandan Cahaya. I was too excited that I actually text Dodo , well more like stalking for the whole 2 hours.

Before they reach, black out at home for almost 2 hours. I have tried to call the TNB hot line, 15454. I got connected!!! Then the operator said with a cheerful voice, "You are currently at the position number 60" FML.



OJ greeted them at the door with back arching and hissing. Er.... This is not a picture of her greeting them by the way, if thats they she greeted them, she look like a ho. :P Well, she is not actually the friendly kind of sort. I put OJ into her box, the Marlboro box that my mom took for me to put my clothes but OJ liked it so I gave to her. She lounge around the room for 15 minutes than she was gone. Nowhere to be seen. Valley tried to climb the curtain to find OJ but he is too heavy. lol.

After frantically searching for 1 hour, we found her. She is loitering outside the house. On the awning, and we lived in 17th floor! FML2

I wanted to actually climb out to the awning and catch without the slightest fear. I forgot all about my phobia, I didnt even think that I may caused the awning to actually break and send me flying down from 17th floor. I had to lure her with her wetfood and grab her ear to bring her in. Her ear must be damn painful, cos a cat's ear have 32 nerves. FHL

Tiffany and Regal is currently residing in the middle room of the house. Complete with their potty, food, water and bed.
