After 1 week of hiatus, I guess I really need to make it up to the readers. Last Sunday was the elimination round for week 2 in Akademi Fantasia 8. As i mentioned in my previous post on AF8, diaries and concerts can be watched from youtube

This time I will let you be the judge. So far I am very proud with his progress in AF. All the naysayers may back off after Daus was off the hook after being in fragile position.

Why so serious title? It's because I am going to talk serious.. *puts on serious face and change mode*

The thing is, I have been staying in Ampang with one housemate. Its convenient in a way but the place that we frequent to is in PJ area. Yes, previously I stayed in PJ area, Sungai Way to be exact, the reason we moved is because someone attempt break in and my property is at stake. Huh... Property of a 22 year old would be laptop, phone, ok. mostly gadgets.

So I have been trying to find another house to rent, that can fit 3 human, 4 cats and lots of cloths and books and junks and more gadgets. I like the idea of finding a house for rent online without going under the scorching sun, suffering sun burns without fail. I have tried finding in various website and I found this website PropWall. Basically this website is a website catering for property searching, may it be land, condominium, house, shop lots and even factory.


Targeted groups are more to high end consumers with house rents ranging from 4 digits and above. Luxurious house for people with bigger paychecks. There is a forum initiated in the website too. Any question in mind, just post it and interact with many users from many parts of Malaysia. Finding a house to rent cant be any easier than that. The rental on these houses may burn a big hole in the pocket but with the amenities that are offered, it is a pretty good deal.

One thing that attracts me in this website is the pictures are provided and updated frequently. In finding a house, the phrase " a picture is worth a thousand words" cant be more appropriate. The vivid picture uploaded makes you feel like you are there, being shown to the whole property.

Just one feature (at the moment) that I am not that fond of, wider range of properties should be offered, with more properties in other states as well. Many properties and real estates in states such as Sarawak and Sabah are not being commercialised in websites. These states property's commercial value is increasing gradually but not profoundly without publicity.

If you are looking towards owning a property or an investment in Kuala Lumpur, you should check this website. They have financial planning, mortgage planning, forum, property changes in the market, just about anything, name it, you can find it here in KL property. Register for free and you are up with access to many property that you dream of.

These condos maybe a little out of my reach, but a girl can sure dream and work on it. If you are looking for house with smaller budget, try asking around, I am sure you are able to find one.

about Akademi Fantasia?

This post is only for the hardcore addict who cant leave any update about Akademi Fantasia 8.

Years ago, 8 years ago to be exact. Akademi Fantasia fever has just started to infect everyone, almost making everyone to subscribe to paid TV network, ASTRO.

I was a hardcore AF addict, who isnt? I still remember all the Saturdays that turned into kinda a family day where everyone will nest in front of the TV, watching Astro Ria, channel 4 (back then). Bawling our eyes out when one of the student get eliminated. And during final concerts, my mom would ask me to text out the AFUNDI for the student that she really fond of.

The first ever Akademi Fantasia winner, Vincent Chong (brother of the the contestant of Amazing Race Asia, Vanessa and Pamela Chong) somehow reminds my mom of her own brother, I think that's why she voted so much.

During weekdays, we would bring our homework and do it in front of the TV to watch the Akademi Fantasia diary episodes. Maybe Malaysian just love watching people being confined in a house, enjoying the drama in life. lol. Maybe its just me. I love watching America's Next Top Model, Malaysian Dream Girl and such. I've stopped watching this phenomenon in 2006 or so. That was the starting year of me being away from home. My mom would still update me on it sometimes. Those were the days.

What got me interested in the new season of Akademi Fantasia if I have outdated myself for so long?

Yes, high school friend who I used to bully go to school with. We were never in the same class though. Okay, I have been writing sentence after sentence then end up pressing the backspace button and end up with the first 2 sentence. I guess, I have some fear that whatever that is written in this blog will be used against him once he got out from the academy. Or maybe I am just scared that people are going to say that I tumpang glamor. Oh well, some high school memories.

The only thing I remembered the most is he always hang out with his cousin who was in the same class with him.. From what I have heard, they are not that close anymore. I guess after years of separation after SPM, no one really contact each other. Everyone is scattered around pursuing studies and careers.

His puppy love? Of course we know about it. It's not very decent to disclose here. But lets just say that they are still in very good terms.

Private joke between us, we would always measures height. I dont know, maybe its a way of ice breaking. lol. Though he is petite, he does have the huge confidence and sheer determination. Though I never realise his talent in singing nor dancing, you can still have a sneak peak into it,here is his youtube channel.

Oh well, after this, he will be a star. And more people will flock with pretense of being friend.

Debaran minggu 1 is basically the elimination round after the perfomances the night before. Is it me, or its getting more like Malaysian Idol?

Ain apparently had some complication and was admitted to hospital, thus having to miss the elimination night. Since she missed an important night after the concert. Will she be eliminated?

So, I have good news and bad news? Lets just go with the bad news first okay.

Shah is no longer in the academy. But he gets to see his family. Yes, betul, Shah tersingkir pada minggu pertama Akademi Fantasia 8, mungkin rezeki dia bukan di sini.

Ain is in the hospital but she is still in the academy.

And that also means, DAUS IS STILL IN THE ACADEMY!!!!!

I never know that Gatsby have other range of product other than hair product. I've cut my hair short once, and trust me, Gatsby is good!! It stays "messy" even after hours you messed it up. Okay, I cut it like 3 years ago, because that time, this messy out of bed look was so in. So I cut my hair. Wrong move though. Cause I dont really know how to take care of it.

3 years after that tragedy ( my hair, not Gatsby), Gatsby come out with new product, which is the deodorant range and they are having a streetfair in April, in KL!!! yay. They are going to introduce their 7 new babies to the world. Its like a party that people organise to actually announce the birth of their baby. Or like the Majlis Cukur Jambul or something like that.




Gatsby version of majlis cukur jambul will be on 17th of April 2010. Since everyone is waiting for these babies to be born, a huge fair is going to be organised in Times Square Foyer from 10 am to 5 pm. Yes. The babies will be introduced to everyone on that day.

Unlike the traditional Majlis, there will be a lot of activities held on that very day. I guess, Gatsby's new babies are more athletic and fun and adventurous. There will be lucky draw of course. The prizes? Well, you will need to come to see whats the prize. Psst, I heard the prizes are worth up to RM15,000,consist of various cool gadgets that is going to be given away.

There will a lot of fun fair-ish type of game on that day. Of course, other amusing and addictive games in funfair will be there too. Just make sure you have enough energy to play! But the highlights will be the Sumo Wrestling (in air bag suits!);
